Welcome to my blog! I've created this for a number of reasons. First, I have an awesome life. I work on movies, I'm married to a wonderful man, and I live on the Mardi Gras parade route in New Orleans. What I lack, however, is a good memory, and the idea that I have forgotten so many great days in my life weighs heavily on me. As such, I'll do my best to write just a little bit a day. I'm currently unemployed so expect some long winded posts at first, to be followed by maybe one sentence blogs when I'm busy.

The second reason I've created this blog is to record my dreams. I am an incredibly visual dreamer and my dreams are often sagas that veer into multiple stories. Sometimes I revisit nonexistent cities that I've created in my subconscious. Or I visit places I've never seen and it looks nothing like the place in reality. I love the dreams I have and I've been told on numerous occasions that I should write them down. Well, here we go. I've already had a couple of doozies this week, so let's see what my mind has in store for me tonight.

Finally, this blog is hopefully going to help me catalog the various bars, restaurants, and festivals that I'm able to attend in New Orleans, a city where something is always going on, and something can always be celebrated.

I could go on and on, but for now I'll keep this concise. I look forward to writing thoughts, experiences and dreams and hope you enjoy reading them!
